Biography

I study the Hmong diaspora, the history of Hmong America, and the racialization of Southeast Asian refugees in the United States. In addition to my research, I am involved with the PEOPLE Program at UW-Madison and Dreamers of Wisconsin, working to support more equitable access to higher education across the state of Wisconsin.
