The Asian American Media Lab (AAMLAB) at University of Wisconsin-Madison is bringing together scholars of Asian American media for a one-day gathering centered on community, mentorship, and critical discussions about the future of our field. This space is designed for those studying Asian American media — including film, television, digital media and technology, gaming, social media, and beyond — who are looking to connect with their scholarly community and engage in conversations about emerging research directions. Participants will have the opportunity to connect to a network of scholars dedicated to Asian American media research, share and discuss new directions and methodologies in the field, and engage in shaping the future of Asian American media studies.
All participants will be expected to present a short lightning talk introducing their research.
