Our Asian American/AASP Badgers have had a busy summer! This past summer, four students spent six weeks in Vietnam as part of the inaugural Hmong Design Studies Internship, made possible by donors of the School of Human Ecology, led by Design Studies Professor Jennifer Angus. Edward Xiong, a Textiles & Fashion Design major and one of our very own Hmoob Studies and AAS Certificate Minor was part of this exciting program, sponsored for the very first time!
For more details of the experience and exhibitions, check out the Arts Division article here, written by Maggie Ginsberg.
